Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it's because in addition to the fact that the sea changes, and the light changes, and ships change, it's because we all came from the sea. And it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea - whether it is to sail or to watch it - we are going back from whence we came.

During this time of my life (mid seventies) I am enthusiastically engaged in more or less full time photography. I think that my former professional life as an Environmental Scientist and University Professor has provided me with many useful tools that I now use in my photography. Among these are observational skills, technical understanding, and, perhaps, most important, patience. In short, I am comfortable with the mechanics of my camera and the nuances of the computer software that I use.
