During this time of my life (mid seventies) I am enthusiastically engaged in more or less full time photography. I think that my former professional life as an Environmental Scientist and University Professor has provided me with many useful tools that I now use in my photography. Among these are observational skills, technical understanding, and, perhaps, most important, patience. In short, I am comfortable with the mechanics of my camera and the nuances of the computer software that I use. What is new and exciting to me, is the opportunity to pursue the goal of conveying the beauty and diversity of my surroundings through photography and photographic techniques.
