These magnificent raptors migrate back and forth thousands of miles from New England to South America. They typically arrive on Cape Cod late march to early April. Osprey pairs mate for life and generally return to the same nesting location year after year. There are approximately 200 nesting sites on Cape Cod. Nicknamed “fish hawk” ,osprey are expert fishermen.
