The tug Magothy is 100’ long, with a 34’ beam, and a depth of 15’. Her gross tonnage is 99 tons. She is powered by two CAT3516, 2100 horse-power engines.
The tank barge Double Skin 50 , out of Baltimore MD, is 348 ft long.
During this time of my life (mid seventies) I am enthusiastically engaged in more or less full time photography. I think that my former professional life as an Environmental Scientist and University Professor has provided me with many useful tools that I now use in my photography. Among these are observational skills, technical understanding, and, perhaps, most important, patience. In short, I am comfortable with the mechanics of my camera and the nuances of the computer software that I use.
